Minipleated filter paper is most often used to produce laminar flow HEPA and ULPA filters. The manufacturing process allows a large area of filter paper to be presented to the airflow in a compact space. Laminar flow filters are generally run at 0.45m/second.
Laminar flow panels are installed into laminar flow benches and also into laminar flow ceilings.
